I had the great pleasure and honor of showing our Huey's handsome son Winston (BISS, Am Grand Ch., Can Ch. Amook's A Day At The Races, CGC, AOM) at the AMCA's Top 20 competition (Winston ranked #15 in limited showing!) and at the AMCA's National Specialty Show.
Winston was awarded the 1st Award of Merit by respected long-time breeder judge Nancy Russell, StormKloud Kennels. An unbelieveable honor given the amazing competition that was present!!
Congratulations to Winston and breeder/owner/mom Cheryll McFarland, Amook Alaskan Malamutes, on an amazing year! And thank you for letting me be a part of your very special National week!

Kwin earns the AMCA's All Around Alaskan Malamute (AAAM) Award - the second Malamute ever to receive this award!
The requirements for this award are not easy and require a great deal of time and dedication. Titles must be earned in Conformation, Obedience, Sledding, Weight Pulling and Backpacking. The final requirement is demonstration of Temperament in public service activities.
Congratulations to Kwin and owner/handler/mom Nichole Royer, Kwest Alaskan Malamutes, on all their hard work! We are so very, very proud of you!!

At the Friday Mt. Rainier Working Dog Club's show Karma finished her AKC championship by going WB/BOW for her second major! We are so very proud of our "wild child" - Ch. Toolik's A Wencinja Twist Of Fate! And she finished in her summer bikini to boot!
Bodhi also had a great day! He was awarded WD for his first major and he was awarded Best Bred-By Exhibitor! At the Saturday Mt. Rainier Working Dog Club's show Bodhi went WD/BOW for 2 more points!
Bodhi finished the long weekend of shows by going RWD to a major at the Sammamish Kennel Club show on Sunday! Bodhi now has 8 points toward his AKC championship!!

Karma is back in the show ring after taking a little time off to blow out her puppy coat and grow up a little bit. At the Hurricane Kennel Club shows, Karma went RWB on Saturday and WB on Sunday for 2 more points and she's now minored out! Just 1 more major to go to finish her AKC Championship!
Bodhi made his show ring debute at 6-1/2 months old. RWD on Saturday and WD/BOW on Sunday for his first 2 AKC championship points!

Sonho's puppies have arrived! 8 beautiful puppies - 6 boys and 2 girls! Guess she and sister Lacee decided that was a nice number for a litter and split on boys and girls! Father of the litter is the one and only AJ, BIS BISS Am/Can Ch. SnoKlassic Above The Rim, ROM. Indy's handsome son Bodhi, Gryphon's Moonlight Mush'n To Wencinja, has come to live with us! He is having so much fun following his daddy around the yard, playing with cousin Karma and getting to know the rest of his relatives!

Kwin completes his CD and RN titles in 3 straight trials, at the same time, with scores that are almost perfect!! CD scores: 195, 194 and 191 out of a perfect score of 200 and RN scores of 99, 99 and 95 out of a perfect score of 100! Kwin is now known as Am/Int/Nat/UKC CH Wencinja's Out Of The Kwestion, AOM, CGC, CD, RN, WPD, WTD, WWPD.

Karma wins Best Puppy In Sweepstakes at the Snow King Alaskan Malamute Fanciers specialty show! Karma is our third generation puppy sweepstakes winner! Like her uncle Indy and her grandpa Austin, she did it in her summer underwear! :-) Karma is just over 9 months old in this picture.

Karma does it again! Reserve Winners Bitch to a major at the Tacoma Kennel Club Show on Saturday and Winners Bitch/Best of Winners at the Puyallup Kennel Club show on Sunday for 2 more pts!
Indy picked up 2 more Select Dog awards so now has 5 pts toward his Grand Championship! Uncle Indy has done a great job helping baby Karma get used to the show scene, now she'll finish the summer on her own while Indy continues to mature and grow some hair!

At the International Caciab Saarbrecken she was awarded V1, VDH-Cac and DCNH-rcac for another point toward her German Championship leaving just 1 more International point to go! Karma and I spent the day together enjoying the sun at the Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club's All-Breed Match. Karma continues to do well with her show training and impressed the judge enough to get her first Best In Show award! No, it wasn't an "official" show, but still an honor! Many thanks to the kennel club for this great picture!!
