Ch. Wencinja's Not Jus'A Pretty Face, AOM
"Shania"
BPIS Am/Int/Nat Ch. Wencinja's Int'l Man Of Mystery x Ch. Moonsnoe Wencinja's Serendipity

Picture

Shania is our Austin x Sierra daughter and Indy's older sister.  She is a beautiful blend of the wonderful characteristics of both parents - a fun, happy and intelligent girl!

She quickly obtained her championship with Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex wins over specials.  At 19 months old she made her debut as a special by going Best of Breed!  Shania was AMCA's #2 Puppy Bitch and #1 PNW Area  Puppy Bitch in 2006 and #1 PNW Area Breed Bitch in 2007, just missing AMCA's Top 10 Bitches by a few points - not bad considering she didn't finish her championship until halfway through the year!  She also earned an invitation to the 2007 AKC Eukanuba National Championship show.

Shania accumulated many Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex wins as well as multiple Specialty Show Award of Merits in limited showing.  Unfortunately, her show career was cut short due to pyometra and needing to be spayed to keep her healthy.  She continues to be an active part of our pack and we're looking forward to pursuing her backpacking title and training her in rally obedience.

Be sure to visit Shania's litter brother
Kwin.

*January 27, 2016 - It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our Shania.  Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in July 2015 she did not let the cancer get the best of her!  We were blessed to be able to celebrate her 10th birthday in September, as well as another holiday season with her.  Shania was one of those "once in a lifetime" dogs for Tina and she is greatly missed by all of her pack - both human and canine.

Shania was known world-wide for her apple picking! At 9 years old she was still able to pick her own apples!
