About us....
Wencinja Alaskan Malamutes is located on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula of Western Washington State. We have been enjoying life with Malamutes since 1988. Our passion is showing, but we have also enjoyed backpacking, recreational sledding and we'll be giving rally obedience a try!
Puppies from our dogs have gone on to become titled in the show ring and obedience ring, are titled in packing, sledding and weight pulling, and enjoy carting, skootering, skijouring, jogging and any other activity their active owners include them in!
We are members of the Alaskan Malamute Club of America (AMCA), co-founding members of the Olympic Ridge Alaskan Malamute Club which devotes all its energies to public education on this wonderful "challenging" breed and we are active members in our local all-breed club, Olympic Kennel Club. We are also active in local Malamute Rescue.
We are a small kennel with a focus on producing beautiful Alaskan Malamutes of exceptional health and wonderful temperaments. We breed very selectively to accomplish this and all dogs used in our breeding program are OFA/CERF/ChD certified. Inquiries are always welcome regarding upcoming litters.
